Spybot Search and Destroy is the ultimate spyware remover available, very simple to install, free easy updates, and actively will protect your browser (as long as its IE) from malware before it has a chance to take hold.  If your really infected than you want to run this and malware bytes together to clean up those pesky nuisances that keep showing up.  This one is a no brainer, be careful for fake versions that are out there so be careful and follow the link.
